In 2014 Hello Charlie were asked by MTV to work with set designer Julio Himede and create bespoke screen content for the return of the MAMAs in Durban, South Africa. The concept was to treat the long LED fingers of the set as a physical space animating within the dimensions, and generating content that felt mapped to the space. As well as a series of show looks, Hello Charlie created content for many of the live performances.
