Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds

Hello Charlie were commissioned to design the digital content for Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. This spanned viral videos, posters and survival guides, as well as a series of fictional newspaper cuttings. The videos and posters were teasingly dripped onto a specially made Tumblr campaign blog called ‘The Eve of the War’, with the content becoming less abstract as the launch of the album and live show neared.
The campaign achieved over 60,000 views across video content, and was listed in Music Ally’s ‘Best Campaigns of 2012’.
We also created the avatars, backgrounds and skins for the campaign’s Twitter, Tumblr and YouTube pages.
