Liam Payne X Factor Performance

Hello Charlie were asked to create the visuals for Liam Payne’s X Factor performance which kicked of the first of the live shows.
The 2017 series launched with a new stage design which included a wide variety of screens. On top of the in-house screens an extra seven moveable dolly screens were added to his performance- all of which had to be triggered on and off at key moments of the track.
Working closely with Creative Director Paul Caslin, Hello Charlie shot dancers and models in a selection of opposing lighting and framing set ups. Multiple edits were then constructed in a previz format to ensure the screens were triggering at the correct moments.
...The result being a standout performance where the visuals set the tone and compliment the track completely.
