The concept this year was Augmented Reality, so it was important that the creative for the show, both in house and for broadcast reflected this. We therefore felt it was important to put considerable time in to the development of our creative, to refine the various techniques that would enhance the augmented reality at the heart of this years concept.
With numerous shoots in NYC we were able to take individual plates and create bespoke augmented looks for each of the 10 nomination packages, going through various rounds of rotoscoping, tracking and compositing.
The bold colour scheme was then carried forward to the screen content, which worked incredibly well on camera and in the auditorium.
The final result was a huge success and complimented the show as a whole.
