When Sony decided to launch Xperia Access, a new online digital channel via Vevo and The Guardian online, they asked Hello Charlie to create a brand that would translate over a multitude of digital and physical platforms. Understanding the target demographic, we created a strong modular logo that was underpinned with a low-fi aesthetic. The logo appeals to the target demographic by shaking off some of Sony’s corporate shine, and proved versatile enough to proliferate though to the set design, live events, animation, web, and the print campaign. As well as the graphic branded treatment, Hello Charlie were responsible for both the production, and creative direction of the live performances and interviews.
